Description

Role: Front-End User Story Story: As a User, I want to be notified when my account is locked, so that I understand why I cannot attempt further entries.

  • In-Scope: * Displaying the Security Alert box (Shield icon).
    • Handling 429 error responses from the backend to show the lockout message.
  • Out-of-Scope: Backend counting logic.
  • Acceptance Criteria (AC):
    • AC1: Display the "5 failed attempts" warning as per the HTML design.
    • AC2: If the backend returns a 429 error, disable the "Verify" button and show the specific lockout error message.
  • Error Messages: Match backend: "Account locked... Try again in 30 minutes."
  • Definition of Done (DoD): UI matches design; Error state handled gracefully without page crash.
