As a customer (B2C/B2B Partner),

I want to request a customized quotation for my selected travel package,

So that I can receive the final travel cost based on my travel preferences, group size, accommodation requirements, and other customized requests.

Description¶

The system should provide an intuitive and responsive "Request Quote" interface from the Package Details page. The user should be able to review the selected package, customize travel requirements, verify traveller details, and submit the quote request. Upon successful submission, the user should receive an acknowledgement along with a unique booking reference and expected response timeline.

Acceptance Criteria¶

• User can access the Request Quote page from the Package Details screen.
• Selected package details are automatically displayed.
• User can review and modify travel preferences before submission.
• Traveller information is pre-filled for logged-in users and editable where applicable.
• System validates all mandatory information before submission.
• Form supports desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Loading indicator is displayed while the request is being processed.
• User cannot submit duplicate requests while processing.
• On successful submission, a confirmation screen displays:
  • Booking Reference Number
  • Request Submitted Successfully message
  • Expected quotation turnaround time
• User can navigate to My Quotes / My Enquiries after submission.
• Appropriate error messages are displayed if submission fails.
