Title: Select patient species

Initial species master:

Cat
Dog
Other

Species must be selected from a controlled list.

The existing patient's species must not be casually changed.

Acceptance Criteria¶

• Species is displayed as a controlled selection.
• "Other" is controlled.
• Free unrestricted species text is not allowed.
• Existing patient's species cannot be casually edited.

Title: Maintain species master

Acceptance Criteria¶

• Species has unique ID.
• Species has name.
• Species has active/inactive status.
• Patient references species ID.
• Species cannot be deleted if referenced by patients.
• Deactivation does not alter historical records.
