QR Patient Identification¶

Every patient receives:

Patient ID
Patient Code
Unique QR Code
Human-readable code

The QR must be unique/random and the plain-text code must be printed beneath it.

QR Already Assigned
QR Not Found
Reassign QR
Confirm QR Reassignment
QR Successfully Assigned

Frontend Story¶

Assign a QR sticker to the patient.

Acceptance Criteria¶

• User can scan QR.
• Successfully scanned unassigned QR can be assigned.
• Assigned QR displays patient information.
• Already-assigned QR displays warning.
• Unknown QR displays not-found state.
• Reassignment requires confirmation.
• Successful assignment is clearly displayed.

Backend Story¶

Maintain unique QR-to-patient mapping.

Acceptance Criteria¶

• QR value is globally unique.
• One active QR maps to one patient.
• Duplicate assignment is rejected.
• QR reassignment is audited.
• Previous assignment remains traceable.
• Invalid QR cannot create a patient mapping.
