Description
Finding-Based Clinical Suggestions¶
This is the currently documented fixed-list approach.
The walkthrough contrasts it with a future conversational assistant. The fixed-list version can work offline and only displays content written in advance by the clinic/team.

User Story
As a veterinarian, I want to see predefined clinical information associated with an examination finding so that the system can assist me without making the clinical decision for me.
Example¶
Doctor selects:
Mucous membrane → Pale
The system may display the predefined information associated with that finding.
Frontend Requirements¶
The UI shall:
- Display assistance only after a relevant finding is selected.
- Clearly distinguish assistance from the doctor's examination finding.
- Show predefined content.
- Allow the doctor to dismiss/close the assistance.
- Never automatically populate diagnosis.
- Never automatically populate prescription.
- Never force the doctor to accept a suggestion.
- Work without internet if the fixed-list model is selected.
Acceptance Criteria¶
AC-01
When a configured finding is selected, the corresponding predefined assistance can be displayed.
AC-02
The doctor can ignore the suggestion.
AC-03
The doctor can continue without selecting any suggestion.
AC-04
The system does not automatically save the suggestion as a diagnosis.
AC-05
The system does not automatically create a prescription.
AC-06
Only approved/configured content is displayed.
Out of Scope¶
- Autonomous diagnosis.
- Autonomous prescribing.
- Generative AI medical advice.
